UniquePhones Roaming API

What?

The UniquePhones Roaming API is a programmable interface to the complete database of carrier roaming rates, organized by country. It allows you to add the service to your web site or create a widget that could be embedded onto your web page.

Where?

The UniquePhones Roaming API is based around GET calls to the url http://roaming.uniquephones.com/api.

The Details

The only two parameters we require are the "to" and "from" countries.

• from_country - The country where you will be travelling to.
• to_country - The country that you'll be making calls to while travelling.

The Results

Calls to the API will return an XML document, broken up into two sections: major networks, (i.e. AT&T and T-Mobile), and discount providers, (i.e. MAXroam, Go-Sim). The following is a list of attributes provided by each section.

• company - The name of the company searched.
• outgoing_calls - Rate for outgoing calls per minute.
• incoming_calls - Rate for incoming calls per minute.
• outgoing_texts - Rate for outgoing texts per message.
• incoming_texts - Rate for incoming texts per message.
